Storyline

The first case deals with an attempted assassination of President Di‑Jun Wang. Edgeworth discovers the president staged the attack to revive his popularity and that head guard Bastian Rook was killed by his deputy Bronco Knight, who is later murdered in prison by warden Fifi Laguarde. A second case sees chef Carmelo Gusto nearly killed in Judy Bound’s art gallery; a flashback reveals that Edgeworth’s father Gregory and Eddie Fender once defended Bound’s partner Samson Tangaroa in the DL‑6 incident, and that Gusto finally confesses to murdering rival chef Artie Frost.

The last case has an amnesic Kay accused of killing defense attorney Rosie Ringer. Edgeworth surrenders his badge, uncovers an illegal auction run by Excelsius Winner—head of Gavèlle’s committee and Eustace’s father—and exposes his burn scar as the murder clue.
