Summary

Doodle Hex turns the Nintendo DS touch‑screen into a spell‑casting canvas, letting you flick and draw runes that become attacks in fast‑paced duels. The gesture‑based combat feels fresh, because each spell is literally yours to sketch, which adds a tactile flair not often seen in handheld fighters.

The Spanish team Tragnarion Studios crafted the title and Pinnacle Software shipped it, centering the game around a quest for the scattered pieces of the One Wish Rune. A Wii conversion was announced but never materialised. Critics appreciated the inventive battle system, yet many noted the gameplay grew repetitive and the rune‑drawing mechanic could become unintuitively complex.

Storyline

In Doodle Hex for the Nintendo DS, the player’s mission is to gather every fragment of the legendary One Wish Rune. The entire adventure revolves around retrieving all the pieces of the One Wish Rune to restore its power.
