Summary

Children of Mana drops you into the lush world of Fa'diel, anchored by the towering Tree of Mana on the island of Illusia. Years ago a "great disaster" shattered the island’s peace, and a brave boy and girl wielded the Sword of Mana to stave off catastrophe, leaving a lingering mystery that haunts the locals.

Now a rag‑tag group of orphans sets out to uncover what really happened, and the journey takes you across Fa'diel’s five distinct continents—Jadd, Topple, Wendell, Ishe, and Lorimar. Each region feels its own personality, from wind‑swept plains to mist‑cloaked forests, and the story unfolds as you piece together the lost memories of those who perished.

Storyline

Children of Mana on the Nintendo DS tasks players with saving the Mana Tree from its own corruption. Armed with a sword, flail, bow or hammer, you battle the darkness that threatens the heart of Mana. The game offers more than 180 magic gems, letting you equip new skills and abilities for fast‑paced combat. Up to three friends can join via local wireless, providing extra help or simply a chance to explore together.
