Summary

Toon Panic was shaping up to be a lively multiplayer brawler for the Nintendo 64, aiming for the chaotic, arena‑style fun of games like Power Stone and Rakugaki ShowTime. The developers at Bottom Up wanted players to jump into colorful, fast‑paced fights where anything could happen, a concept that felt fresh for the console’s party scene. Unfortunately, the project never saw the light of day. Bottom Up ran into severe financial trouble, and the studio’s bankruptcy forced the cancellation of the game before it could reach a market. It remains a curious footnote in N64 history, a glimpse of what might have been a standout party title.
