Summary

The Powerpuff Girls: Chemical X‑Traction drops you into a colorful 3‑D brawl that feels straight out of the cartoon. Play as Blossom, Bubbles or Buttercup and square off against seven classic villains, for a total of ten fighters. In story mode you’re chasing Mojo Jojo while grabbing objects and vials of Chemical X to unleash super‑charged attacks, even hurling a coveted Chemical X pie at opponents. The simulator mode skips the plot, letting any character face off in a free‑for‑all showdown. Designed for the Nintendo 64 (and later the PlayStation), the game captures the series’ zany spirit with frantic melee and lots of nostalgic cheer.

Storyline

The Powerpuff Girls: Chemical X‑Traction opens with the trio baking a pie in Townsville. Bubbles sneaks a dash of Chemical X into the batter, but while the pie cools on the windowsill Mojo Jojo snatches it and distributes the contaminated slice to the city’s villains – Fuzzy Lumpkins, Big Billy, Ace, Sedusa and Princess Morbucks – granting each a burst of chaotic power.
Realizing the threat, Blossom, Bubbles and Buttercup chase the gang through the streets, battling each foe and stripping the Chemical X from their bodies. After defeating Mojo Jojo and his allies, the girls are confronted by HIM, who arrives to claim the remaining Chemical X for himself; a fierce showdown ends with the Powerpuff Girls driving HIM away.
In the aftermath Bubbles suggests baking another pie, but Blossom and Buttercup quickly shut the idea down.
