Summary

SD Hiryuu no Ken Densetsu, often called the SD Legend of the Fist of the Flying Dragon, is an Japan‑only overhaul of the N64 title Hiryuu no Ken: Twin (known overseas as Flying Dragon). The update sprinkles in a roster of fresh faces—including Jack, Ryu and Gofire borrowed from the Super Chinese series—alongside a handful of new items to keep the fights feeling fresh.

The most noticeable shift is the removal of the realistic "Virtual Mode" in favor of a whimsical "Quest Mode" that embraces a super‑deformed aesthetic. This change gives the game a lighter, more arcade‑like vibe while still preserving the core fighting mechanics.

Players can choose from a colorful lineup: Ryuhi, Hayato, Min Min, Wiler, Shouryu, Yuka, Suzaku, Powers, Robo No Hana, and the unlockable Bokuchin, plus newcomers Jack, Ryu, Raima, E. Quaker, Ellie, Gofire and the secret Ryumaou. The mix of classic and new characters makes each match feel like a nostalgic yet novel showdown.
