Summary

Robot Ponkottsu 64: Nanatsu no Umi no Caramel is a quirky turn‑based RPG that landed on the Nintendo 64 only in Japan, hitting shelves on December 24, 1999 after a buzz‑worthy demo at Space World that summer. As a proud member of the Robopon series, the game leans heavily on the N64’s Transfer Pak: plug in a compatible Game Boy Color Robopon cartridge—Sun, Star, or Moon—and you can trade creatures, stage battles, and even unlock exclusive Robopon. The developers added a playful twist: pop in any unrelated Game Boy title and the system will conjure special food items that boost a Robopon’s stats. In total you’ll encounter 45 distinct Robopon, fifteen of which were first introduced in the Moon version, giving collectors plenty of incentive to hunt them all.
