Summary
Razor Freestyle Scooter lets you grab a tiny scooter and tear through three sprawling arenas, pulling off over forty‑nine stunt combos that range from flip‑over rails to mid‑air flips. The game runs on the same Grind Session skate‑boarding engine that powered earlier titles, which means the physics feel crisp and the controls stay buttery even on the Nintendo 64. You pick from ten distinct riders, each bringing a quirky flair, and race against the clock while scooping up hidden wheels for extra time. The soundtrack pumps pop‑punk tracks from bands like Ex Number Five and Sick Shift, giving each run an adrenaline‑spiked vibe. In Europe the title drops the Razor brand and simply appears as Freestyle Scooter, reflecting the licensing deal with the scooter maker.
Storyline
Razor Freestyle Scooter on the Nintendo 64 follows a band of kids on a rescue mission. Their friends have been snatched by an evil giant robot, and the player must complete a series of challenges across the main levels to earn access to hidden special stages. Each special stage lets the player free one of the captured characters, and after every rescue the regular levels become tougher. The final showdown occurs when all special stages are cleared and every friend, even UFC fighter Tito Ortiz, has been saved.
