Storyline

In Rat Attack! for the Nintendo 64, you join the Scratch Cats—an elite team of heroic felines—on a mission to stop two mutant space rats, Washington and Jefferson, from enslaving the planet. The rats were originally lab subjects launched into orbit; a mishap gave them super‑intelligence and, forty years later, they returned with a massive army of rats bent on world domination.

Led by the inventive Professor Rex Julius, the Scratch Cats receive high‑tech gear and are dispatched across a series of locations to eradicate the infestation. Along the way they encounter the mysterious Atomicat, who is being held captive by the insect‑king King Scarab.
