Summary

NBA Live 2000 rolls onto the screen with Tim Duncan’s poised pose on the cover, instantly signaling a serious basketball simulation. The game also marks Michael Jordan’s first official cameo in the series, letting you square off with the legend on a gritty street‑court or slot him into a Legends roster.

From the 1950s through the 1990s, the NBA Live Legend All‑Stars Teams pack the biggest names of each decade into ready‑to‑play squads. They’re available right away for quick match‑ups, but if you want to trade them or slot them onto regular NBA teams you’ll need to unlock them first.

Gameplay feels fresh thanks to enhanced player animations and on‑court chatter from Don Poier and Reggie Theus. You’ll hear high‑fives, knuckle‑touches and other reactions, and the new speech system adds a layer of realism to every dunk and block.

The franchise mode goes deeper, offering a full NBA draft and comprehensive team management tools. A quirky but fun feature lets you download any face—yours or a friend’s—onto a player model, so you can literally play as yourself against the pros.
