Play Nagano Winter Olympics '98 Online

Summary

The Nagano Winter Olympic Games let you dive into the icy thrill of twelve Olympic events, from downhill skiing to figure skating, all rendered with real‑time motion‑captured athletes. You can pick from sixteen nations and challenge friends in up to four‑player mode, turning the living room into a frosty arena of friendly rivalry.

What really hooked me was the ability to set new world records and stash them on the Controller Pak, giving each achievement a tangible place in your cartridge collection. The game’s simple “pick‑your‑event, go for gold” loop makes it easy to jump in, yet mastering each discipline feels rewarding, especially when you finally see your name on the podium.

Fans still refer to it casually as “Nagano Olympics,” a nostalgic nod to the ’98 Winter Games that still feels fresh on the N64 console.
