Summary

Kiratto Kaiketsu! 64 Tanteidan, sometimes shortened to the sparkling detective club on the N64, is a quirky party title that lets friends dive into a light‑hearted mystery vibe. Though it never left Japan, the game’s colorful board‑style challenges feel like a retro‑era version of a game‑show mash‑up, perfect for a couch‑co‑op session. Developed by Pandora Box Co. Ltd—an outfit that traces its roots back to early 1989—the title arrived on October 23, 1998, riding the tail end of the console’s heyday. Critics were lukewarm; N64 Magazine gave it a modest 60%, noting the charm but hinting at a lack of depth.
