Summary

HSV Adventure Racing is the Australian spin on Beetle Adventure Racing, swapping the iconic Beetles for Holden Special Vehicles models. The core feel mirrors EA’s Need for Speed titles, offering slick arcade racing with a distinctly Aussie twist. Up to four friends can jump in: two‑player races are available on any track you’ve unlocked, while the chaotic "Beetle Battle" (renamed for HSV) pits 2‑4 racers against each other to snatch six coloured HSV pendants, smash opponents, then dash for the exit. In single‑player you can either pick a standalone race or dive into the Championship, which rolls out three circuits—Novice, Advanced and Professional—and a hidden Bonus Circuit that appears after you clear the first three. Each win unlocks new cars and tracks, and the tracks are littered with four crate types: Point Crates (2, 5 or 10 points), Nitro crates for a speed burst, and three Cheat Crates per stage that shout “Groovy!” and unlock a cheat menu peppered with the developers’ faces. Collecting all 100 point crates even opens a secret arena for the battle mode.
