Summary

Magical Tetris Challenge brings Disney’s Mickey, Minnie, Donald and Goofy into a bright, 2‑D Tetris arena that feels fresh even on the Nintendo 64. The game’s visual style is a kaleidoscopic cascade of falling blocks, and the lack of a save feature pushes you to master each session in one sitting.

In Magical Tetris you battle an opponent—either the AI or a friend—in a race to clear lines and launch "magical" pieces at them. Those extra pieces range from odd‑shaped pentominos to massive 5×5 blocks, and a well‑timed combo can even clear five lines at once in a spectacular "Pentris." A Magic Meter fills as you score combos; once full, the board collapses, a single column disappears, and the meter resets, rewarding aggressive play.

Updown Tetris strips away the magical pieces and focuses on classic line‑sending attacks, with filled rows rising from the bottom to become new obstacles. Both modes support Story and Versus play, and an Endless option lets you chase high scores without a narrative to follow.

Storyline

In Defi au Tetris Magique, players pick one of four familiar faces—Mickey, Donald, Goofy, or Minnie—to experience a distinct storyline. Each character’s adventure follows its own narrative thread, giving the game a surprisingly personal feel for a puzzle title. The final three stages bring a classic showdown: the chosen hero must first battle a mischievous Weasel, then the iconic Big Bad Wolf. After these encounters, the ultimate test arrives in the form of the game’s main antagonist, Pete, who serves as the final boss. The structure lets fans of the Disney cast enjoy a fresh twist on the familiar Tetris formula.
