Summary

Cruis'n Exotica on the Nintendo 64 feels like a quirky remix of its arcade sibling. The tracks have been reshaped, offering new layouts that hide extra shortcuts and secret vehicles, while the glossy, fully licensed cars of the arcade are replaced by a mix of futuristic and fictional rides. You’ll still spot familiar silhouettes – a Jeep Wrangler, a Plymouth Prowler, a Chevrolet Corvette, a Hummer H1, a Ford Mustang and a Dodge Viper – but they sit alongside a 1950’s convertible, a hippy bus, a jet‑car and even a semi‑truck.

The world tour takes you to wildly exotic spots: neon‑lit Las Vegas, bustling Thailand, the icy plains of Antarctica, the mythic ruins of Atlantis, the Sahara desert, Hong Kong, Alaska, India, Ireland, the Netherlands, the Amazon, Tibet and even a race on Mars. A password system, reminiscent of San Francisco Rush 2049, lets you jump back into any of these far‑flung courses.

Character choice is delightfully odd – you can drive as an alien, a baby, a clown or a cowboy – and the game splits into three modes: the timed Cruis'n Challenge, the stunt‑focused Freestyle, and the open‑ended Exotica mode that lets you explore every hidden lane.
