Play WWF King of the Ring Online

Summary

The NES cartridge titled *WWF King of the Ring* drops you straight into the high‑stakes, no‑time‑out elimination tournament that made the real‑world King of the Ring a marquee WWE spectacle. You can pick from ten of the era’s hottest superstars or build your own wrestler, tweaking strength, speed and other attributes before stepping into grueling one‑on‑one or tag‑team matches. The game’s relentless pacing mirrors the actual tournament’s reputation for crowning a new “king” each June, a tradition that began back in 1985 and grew into one of wrestling’s “Big Five” events.

What makes the NES version stand out is its blend of arcade‑style action with a surprisingly deep customization system for a 1990s console. Each bout feels like a mini‑showdown, and the knockout‑style bracket keeps the pressure on until the final bell rings and the crown is finally claimed.
