Storyline

In Uninvited, the story begins with a night‑time car crash. You and your sibling swerve to avoid a strange object, the vehicle ends up wrapped around a tree and bursts into flames. When you crawl out, the wreckage reveals a looming Gothic mansion and your brother (or older sister in the NES version) has vanished. Drawn by curiosity, you step inside the manor.

Inside, the house is a maze haunted by the undead remnants of a sorcerer’s former apprentices. The most powerful apprentice, Dracan, turned corrupt and slaughtered the others, leaving the estate cursed. After battling through ghosts you discover Dracan’s frozen corpse in an underground cavern and, urged by the sorcerer’s spirit, hurl him down a well to prevent his return. At the mansion’s highest room you find your sibling, free them from a possessing spirit, and the two of you escape together.
