Summary

To the Earth on the NES turns the classic shoot‑‘em‑up into a light‑gun experience, letting you guide the ship Tempest with the Nintendo Zapper. Each stage sends you toward a different planet—Uranus, Saturn, Jupiter, and finally Earth—where you must harvest minerals while fending off a relentless stream of enemy craft and missiles. The Zapper lets you blast foes directly on screen, and occasional comets provide a temporary shield when hit. Smart bombs occasionally drift to the bottom of the playfield; a well‑timed shot wipes the screen clean. Levels culminate in hefty bosses that require multiple hits, adding a satisfying climax to each planetary run. The fast‑paced action and tactile shooting make the game a standout for Zapper owners looking for a space‑themed arcade challenge.
