Summary

Titan is a retro brick‑busting title that builds on the classic Arkanoid/Breakout formula by giving the paddle a second degree of freedom. Instead of sliding only left‑right, the player’s rectangle can also drift up and down, turning the playfield into a scrolling map rather than a static screen. The camera follows this small square as it navigates a maze of blocks, and the goal is to guide the ball into every brick while steering clear of hazardous obstacles that will instantly end the round. The paddle itself is only a hair larger than the ball, demanding precise control and timing. Originally a 1988 arcade‑style release, the game later made its way to the Famicom in 1990, where its added dimension gave fans a fresh twist on a beloved genre.
