Summary

In Time Lord you’re thrust into a frantic race against the alien Drakkons, who have stolen a time‑travel device and are trying to rewrite history. As a hired fortune‑hunter, you jump into four distinct eras—medieval England, the Wild West, a 17th‑century Caribbean, and wartime France—each rendered with oblique graphics that give the side‑scroll a pseudo‑3D feel.

The goal in each period is to locate golden orbs hidden among the scenery; four orbs per level and a final one after defeating the Drakkon Lord boss power the machine that will send you back to the present. Weapons are period‑appropriate, from swords and throwing knives to firearms, grenades and even laser fire, all found in gift‑wrapped packages.

A relentless timer counts down six seconds of present‑day time for every second you play, giving you just over 36 minutes to finish the entire adventure with no continues, though extra lives can be earned. Storyline

In the NES game Time Lord, Earth is besieged in the year 2999 by alien forces from the planet Drakkon.
