Summary
Town & Country Surf Designs: Wood & Water Rage (often just called Wood & Water Rage) drops you into the world of "Da Boys" with a split‑screen of skate and surf action. You pick from the laid‑back Joe Cool or the tropical Tiki Man for the skate‑boarding leg, and from the goofy Kool Kat or the hulking Thrilla Gorilla when you’re riding a wave.
In the Street Skate Session you race a timed obstacle course, using the D‑pad to steer, B to pump speed and A to jump. Holding left makes the board grip the back, letting you pop an ollie for rails, ramps or to clear pits. Every bail costs a life, while finishing the course hands you bonus points based on time left and lives remaining.
The surfing round swaps the clock for a massive wave you must stay on, dodging hazards and snatching bananas for extra score. A B‑press at the wave’s crest launches you, and reaching the pier ends the round with a 1,000‑point bonus plus 100 per life left. The hybrid Wood and Water Rage mode alternates these two sports, carrying your score across both. A 1992 sequel, Town & Country II: Thrilla's Surfari, kept the characters but shifted toward platforming and action.
