Summary

Super Mogura Tataki!! – often just called Super Mogura Tataki!! – is a quirky NES title that slipped onto the Japanese market in 1989 under the banner of IGS. It sits in the Miscellaneous genre, meaning it doesn’t fit neatly into the usual platform or shooter boxes, and instead offers a fast‑paced, reflex‑driven experience that feels like a digital whack‑a‑mole. The game’s simple control scheme and bright, cartoony graphics make it instantly approachable, yet mastering the timing can be surprisingly demanding. Because it never left Japan, original cartridges are a hidden gem for collectors, and the title has become a small cult favorite among retro‑gaming enthusiasts who enjoy hunting down obscure NES oddities.
