Summary

The Super Cartridge Ver 4 – 6 in 1 (Unl) is the fourth entry in Sachen’s notorious nine‑cart NES multicart line. It bundles six titles, mixing classic Joy Van fare with later Sachen releases, all pulled from the pre‑1993 era. You’ll find the platformer Master Chu, where hidden objects are the key to progression, alongside Metal Fighter, a horizontal shooter that carries the English‑language polish of its original Sachen version. Galactic Crusader ramps up the challenge with a brutally difficult vertical scrolling shoot‑‘em‑up, while Auto‑Upturn offers a quirky tile‑rearranging puzzle that oddly slips in brief nudity during its final stages. The collection rounds out with Magic Cube, a slow‑moving Columns clone that uses 2×2 blocks, and Super Pang 2, a faithful home‑console take on the arcade classic. As a fan of retro oddities, I appreciate how this cartridge captures the eclectic spirit of early‑90s unlicensed NES compilations.
