Summary

Roundball: 2‑On‑2 Challenge turns a half‑court showdown into a full‑blown arcade experience. From the bottom of the screen you watch the action build toward the hoop, while a buzzing crowd and a flashing scoreboard keep the vibe alive. You can assemble a duo from 24 fictional athletes—each named after a developer and carrying its own stat quirks—then go for passes, blocks, steals, dunks and even three‑point shots, with free‑throw opportunities when fouls are called. The game offers both a quick exhibition and a tournament mode where four teams rotate in a round‑robin, with match lengths selectable at four, eight, twelve or sixteen minutes. For solo play there’s a one‑on‑one option that strips the court down to pure skill. Critics were split: Allgame gave it a middling 2.5‑star rating, while N‑Force scored it 77% and NES Archives settled on a C+.
