Play Rockman 2019 New Year's Hack Online

Summary

I recently stumbled upon the Rockman 2019 New Year's Hack, a quirky ROM hack of Rockman 5 that was put together by a fan known as Puresabe. It was released as a celebration of the 2019 Chinese New Year of the Pig, so you’ll notice a few festive touches sprinkled throughout the game’s visuals and music. The hack stays true to the original’s platforming feel while injecting a playful, seasonal vibe that feels both nostalgic and fresh. Even though it’s a fan‑made project, the attention to detail—especially the pig‑themed sprites and background tweaks—shows a genuine love for the classic series. It’s a fun little tribute that any retro‑gaming enthusiast can appreciate.
