Summary

Rockman 2018 New Year's Hack is a tiny fan‑made ROM hack that pops up like a festive postcard for the 2018 Chinese New Year of the Dog. Puresabe stitched together a handful of new sprites, a short celebratory intro and a few quirky tweaks that feel more like a seasonal greeting than a full‑blown game. The whole thing runs on the original NES hardware, so you can drop the patched ROM into any classic setup and get a quick burst of fireworks, a barking dog mascot and a nod to the holiday spirit. It’s the kind of micro‑project that shows how the retro community still finds fresh ways to mark the calendar.
