Summary
Rockman 2014 New Year's Hack is a fan‑made ROM modification of the classic NES title Rockman 6, crafted by the hacker known as Puresabe. The project was released as a tribute to the 2014 Chinese New Year, specifically honoring the Year of the Horse. By re‑imagining the original game’s assets and levels, the hack injects a festive spirit while preserving the core Mega Man experience that retro fans love. It stands out as a niche celebration of cultural tradition within the retro‑gaming community, showcasing how a single enthusiast can blend holiday homage with classic gameplay.
