Summary

Storyline

After the apparent death of Dr. Wily in Mega Man 3, the world faces a new threat in Mega Man 4. A Russian scientist named Dr. Cossack unleashes eight Robot Masters—Toad Man, Bright Man, Pharaoh Man, Ring Man, Dust Man, Skull Man, Dive Man, and Drill Man—to seize control of eight cities. Dr. Light equips Mega Man with the upgraded New Mega Buster and the support robot Eddie, then sends him to stop the invasion. Mega Man defeats each Master and reaches Cossack’s icy fortress, where a surprise interruption occurs.

Proto Man teleports in with Cossack’s daughter Kalinka, pleading that Dr. Wily has kidnapped her and forced her father to build the army as ransom. The revelation exposes Wily’s betrayal, and Mega Man pursues him into the hidden Wily Castle. After a fierce battle, Wily escapes as the fortress self‑destructs, and Mega Man rides a passing train back home, greeted by Roll and Rush.
