Summary

Little Ninja Brothers—known in Japan as Super Chinese 2—marked Culture Brain’s bold pivot into RPG territory on the NES. After Kung‑Fu Heroes, the twin‑hero format of Jack and Ryu stayed, but now you could level‑up, buy gear, and explore town screens, laying groundwork for the series’ later titles.
The game slipped out of Japan in 1989 and reached the U.S. a year later, eventually joining a 2004 GBA collection, Super Chinese I+II Advance, which gave modern players a chance to revisit the early‑90s ninja quest.
A quirky footnote for collectors: early issues of GamePro ran a manga adaptation of the adventure, and the original Famicom Tsūshin review panel handed it a mixed bag of scores (five, six, six and four out of ten).

Storyline

Little Ninja Brothers follows two young brothers, Jack and Ryu, as they set out to discover the mysterious reason behind the invasion of Chinaland. The game centers on their quest to uncover the cause of the assault.
