Each floor must be cleared before time runs out, and the end of a floor triggers a one‑on‑one boss duel complete with its own health bar. Bonus points reward the speed and energy you keep, rewarding an extra life at 50 000 points. Storyline

In the NES classic Kung Fu, the player controls Thomas, a kung‑fu master clad in a sleeveless white keikogi. A cryptic letter arrives, warning that his beloved Sylvia has been seized and locked inside the Devil’s Temple. Determined to save her, Thomas begins his ascent of a five‑level pagoda.
Each floor is guarded by the “sons of the devil,” a series of martial foes that must be defeated to progress. At the summit, Thomas confronts the shadowy crime lord known only as Mr. X, defeats him, and frees Sylvia. The game then restarts, challenging the player with a higher difficulty setting.
