Summary

Goal! (known in Japan as Moero!! Pro Soccer) plays from an angled overhead perspective, with the screen scrolling to keep the action in view. You control a full squad of 11 players, each graded in seven different skill categories, and can face off against the computer or a friend.

The game packs a surprising variety of modes: World Cup, Tournament, League, Asian Cup, a shoot‑out competition, and a simple Vs. mode. Two players can either join forces on the same side or battle each other, letting you test combined tactics against the toughest AI teams.

Decades later Jaleco revived the whole package for modern consoles and PC, bundling the original NES version, its SNES sequel, and the Famicom original with authentic manuals and box art. The re‑release, handled by Sickhead Games and Rock It Games, lets a new generation experience the classic feel of Goal! on today’s hardware.
