Summary

George Foreman's KO Boxing lets you step into the gloves of the 43‑year‑old champion as he chases the undisputed heavyweight crown across three fictional circuits. The NES version, built by Beam Software, mirrors the mechanics of Power Punch II: you can block, dodge left or right, and unleash a surprisingly varied punch combo. Matches end by knockout—four knockdowns in a three‑round bout—or by technical knockout after three knockdowns in a single round, with judges weighing punches landed, knockdowns and overall damage for a decision. A password system saves your progress through the career mode, letting you pick up the quest where you left off. Unfortunately, critics weren’t kind; the game earned low scores across platforms, with complaints about its graphics, limited movement and overall gameplay feel.
