Play Digger T. Rock: The Legend of the Lost City Online

Summary

The NES platformer Digger T. Rock: The Legend of the Lost City puts you in the boots of a lone miner who tunnels through twisting caves and forgotten catacombs, hunting for the fabled Lost City. Each level feels like a cramped, stone‑filled puzzle where timing and careful digging are the keys to survival.

What makes the title stand out is its place in Rare’s history: it was the very first game the studio released after re‑branding from Ultimate Play the Game, following the earlier launch of Solar Jetman that same year. It also earned the distinction of being Rare’s inaugural entry on a Nintendo console.

Fans of retro collections will recognize Digger T. Rock from the 2015 Rare Replay compilation on Xbox One, where it resurfaced alongside the company’s later classics, giving a new generation a chance to experience its underground adventure.
