Storyline

In the NES title Crystal Mines, you pilot a CM‑205 mining robot on a distant planet. Your mission is to collect the prized “Starla” crystals scattered throughout a series of underground mines.

The robot must meet a crystal quota while dodging hazards such as lava, sudden rock slides, and hostile creatures. Explosives are available to blast through blocked passages or eliminate foes, but careless use can trigger a slide that crushes the robot.

After gathering enough crystals, you must locate the exit and hurry to the next, more demanding mine, where new challenges await.
