Storyline

Two shady figures called Drunk trail the skull and whisk Judy away, prompting Bub to transform into a bubble‑breathing dragon and set off on a rescue mission. The NES manual clarifies that Bub and Bob are actually the descendants of the original Bubble Bobble heroes, sometimes referred to as Cubby and Rubby. In two‑player mode, Bob experiences the same kidnapping, as Judy is described as a friend of both brothers.
