Summary

Alfred Chicken on the NES feels like a stripped‑down version of its handheld sibling, crammed into just five quirky stages. You guide Alfred, a plucky chicken, through surreal rooms littered with balloons, telephones and even cheese, pecking each balloon to unlock the next challenge and eventually a boss showdown. The core moves are simple—walk, jump and a dive‑bomb that either crushes foes or launches you sky‑high off springs, though a mistimed dive leaves you stuck in the ground for a beat. Hidden areas reward you with odd power‑ups: answer a secret phone and a giant flower, Mr. Pekles, will hand you a pot of jam that turns Alfred into a bouncing bomb, while a can of worms summons a spinning worm that slaughters anything it touches. Dying drops you back in as an egg at the last balloon you pecked, keeping the pressure on as you hunt down every floating target.
