Storyline

Air Fortress tells the story of the planet Farmel, whose newly‑won space‑travel technology leads its citizens to explore the galaxy. Their excitement turns to terror when they encounter a herd of massive alien constructs called Air Fortresses, which sweep through star systems like interstellar locusts, devouring resources and life. The Space Federation throws its strongest fleet at the threat, but the Fortresses quickly annihilate the armada.

In a last‑ditch gamble, the Federation dispatches a lone pilot, Hal Bailman, equipped with a shielded spacesuit, heavy weaponry and a tiny “lightship.” He slips inside the enemy vessels and works to destroy them from within, hoping to end the invasion.
