Summary

Adventures of Lolo 3 (often just called Lolo 3) feels like a love letter to anyone who ever spent hours untangling those tiny NES puzzles. The biggest surprise is the character pick‑screen: you can start any level as Lolo or his sister Lala by hitting A or B on the overworld, and while they play identically the tutorial dialogue swaps to match the chosen hero. New twists keep the formula fresh – crumbling bridges that vanish after two crossings and the underwater menace Moby, which drags you in with a line‑of‑sight suction that can trap you in a room. Pressing Select no longer ends the game with a death; instead a brief “give up” jingle plays and the room restarts, and hitting Start twice pulls up a 16‑character password so you can jump back in without losing progress. There’s also no life limit, so you can retry puzzles endlessly without being tossed back to the title screen. The map holds seventeen levels and a hundred distinct rooms, including nine boss chambers and ten training rooms tucked under two big trees. Levels 3, 13 and 17 stretch to ten rooms each, while the rest stick to five, and Lolo’s Grandpa pops up to hand you a few extra tricks before you dive into the underwater challenges.

Storyline

Adventures of Lolo 3 follows Lolo and his sister Lala as they enjoy a quiet day together. Their peace is shattered when the Great King of Eggerland’s son hurls a mysterious potion at their friends, turning them into stone statues. Returning home, the duo discovers the chaos left behind. Determined, they set out on a quest to confront the heir and reverse the petrification. Their goal is to free their friends and restore normalcy to Eggerland.
