Storyline

Zanac-Ex (often just called Zanac) follows the desperate quest to neutralize the mysterious “System,” an ancient alien device comparable to Pandora’s box. Created millennia ago, the System holds limitless knowledge and destructive power; when humanity first tried to open it, the device went rogue, spreading across space and wreaking havoc on all life. After finally learning how to safely tap its technology, humans still cannot stop its self‑propagating defenses, which are built to annihilate entire fleets. The only hope is a lone starfighter that can slip through those defenses and reach the core. The AFX‑6502 Zanac, the most advanced starfighter ever built, is launched on a suicide mission to fight its way into the heart of the System and shut it down.
