Summary

Mad Rider throws you behind the wheel of a bright red sports car and pits you against a relentless clock. You can pick from six distinct tracks—Megacity, Plateau, Alps, Island, Egyptian and Canyon—each packed with traffic, oil slicks, water hazards and even motorcyclists that can spin you out. The goal isn’t to beat rival racers; it’s simply to survive the course, dodging cars and obstacles that will explode on impact. When you hit water or oil you lose control temporarily, but you can recover and keep pushing forward. The MSX2 hardware shows its limits here: the graphics are blocky and the frame‑rate feels sluggish, giving the whole experience a jittery, almost retro‑arcade vibe that feels both charming and frustrating.
