Summary

Snake-It on the MSX lets you guide a growing snake through a field of clovers, each bite adding a segment to its tail. While you’re busy munching, you must steer clear of hazards such as the snake’s own body, poisonous mushrooms and the unforgiving screen edge. Every time you eat a clover, a round object pops up; it’s edible but doesn’t increase your length, adding a subtle twist to the classic formula. Occasionally hearts drift across the arena, and snatching one rewards you with a handy bonus. Once you’ve cleared all the clovers, mushrooms and bonus items, the game advances you to the next round, where the challenge ramps up again.
