Play Panther Online

Summary

In Panther (the MSX version), you take control of a lone tank tasked with protecting a city against waves of enemy armor. The game scrolls horizontally as hostile tanks appear from the horizon, and you must aim, fire and maneuver to keep the streets clear. Each hit on an opponent yields a brief flash of explosions, while taking damage forces you to retreat and regroup. The controls are simple—directional pad for movement and a single button for shooting—yet the increasing speed of the enemy formations makes every level feel like a tense cat‑and‑mouse chase. I love how the pixel‑art cityscape and the chiptune soundtrack keep the tension high while still feeling retro‑friendly.
