Summary

Mobile Suit Gundam: Last Shooting, released in 1984, holds the distinction of being the very first video game to draw on the Mobile Suit Gundam universe. Even though the graphics are modest by today’s standards, the game captures the tension of piloting a giant mech in a way that still feels fresh for a retro title.

The opening stage throws you into a chaotic field of falling debris; you must weave through the wreckage until enough pieces have been cleared for the cockpit hatch to slide open. Once inside your Mobile Suit, the action shifts to a classic shoot‑‘em‑up: you’re tasked with blasting enemy battle mechs and fortified gun emplacements, keeping the battlefield clear for the next push.
