Summary

Knither (often just called Knither) builds on the mechanics of its predecessor, Demon Crystal, but adds a few twists that keep the maze‑crawling fresh. You still hunt for keys to unlock doors and the big key that opens the exit, yet each world now hides three hidden passwords you must snag before you can move on. The arsenal has expanded beyond the classic fireball: a thunder sword, a wave of fire, a cracker and a spark flash that wipes out every foe on screen give you more ways to clear the increasingly crowded corridors. The game is split into five distinct worlds, each packed with ten stages, and a final showdown against a witch on the 51st level. All of this packs a surprisingly deep, retro‑style challenge into the modest MSX hardware.
