Summary

Blagger is a quirky MSX puzzle‑platformer that drops you into a series of single‑screen stages. Each level is a race against the clock: you must guide the titular burglar around, snatch every scattered key and then crack the safe before time runs out.

The character can walk left or right and perform a fixed‑pattern jump in either direction, so success hinges on learning the optimal order for grabbing keys and timing each hop perfectly. Platforms aren’t always reliable – some crumble after a single step, while others act like conveyor belts, pushing you forward.

Hazards add a frantic edge. Touch a cactus, fall too far, or run into any of the moving foes – ranging from cars and alien drones to mad hatters and yawning mouths – and Blagger meets an untimely end. In the BBC and Electron ports, floating "RG" icons (a nod to programmer R.S. Goodley) serve as extra obstacles, keeping even seasoned players on their toes.
