Summary

Batten Tanuki no Daibouken (often just called Tanuki’s Great Adventure) is a quirky MSX title that lets you step into the shoes of a martial‑arts‑trained tanuki. The game blends classic side‑scrolling action with a lighthearted, animal‑centric world, and its pixel art captures the charm of early ’80s Japanese home computers. Despite its modest hardware, the title offers surprisingly fluid kung‑fu moves and a memorable soundtrack that still feels fresh to retro fans today.
