Summary

Yu Yu Hakusho: Horobishimono no Gyakushuu lands on the Sega Game Gear as a compact beat‑'em‑up that captures the spirit of the classic manga and anime. The game squeezes fast‑paced, side‑scrolling action into the portable format, letting you throw punches and unleash signature spirit attacks while navigating the Gear’s limited button layout. Despite the hardware constraints, the sprite work and animation stay true to the series’ iconic look, giving fans a satisfying dose of nostalgia on the go.

For anyone who grew up with Yu Yu Hakusho’s supernatural battles, this Game Gear entry offers a quick, pick‑up‑and‑play experience that feels like a handheld extension of the series’ larger‑than‑life fights.
