Play Super Kick Off Online

Summary

Super Kick Off lands on the Sega Game Gear as a compact, handheld take on the classic soccer series that many of us grew up with on home computers. While it never made it to North America, European and Brazilian fans got a taste of the fast‑paced action, albeit in a trimmed‑down form compared to its big‑brother Kick Off 2. That original title was the brainchild of Dino Dini, who built the core mechanics for Anco Games before the code was shunted to various ports on the Amiga, Atari ST and even the Commodore 64. For the Game Gear version, Tiertex handled the console adaptation, squeezing the essence of Dini’s design into a tiny screen and limited button layout. The result feels like a nostalgic snapshot of early ’90s football gaming, offering quick matches that still capture the strategic flair of the series despite the hardware constraints.
