Summary

Sonic Labyrinth drops the blue blur into a series of isometric 3D mazes where the only way forward is to collect three hidden keys and reach the exit. Storyline

In Sonic Labyrinth for the Game Gear, Dr. Robotnik deceives Sonic by giving him a pair of special shoes that drain his signature speed. Stripped of his usual velocity, Sonic finds himself forced to trek through a series of maze‑like, isometric levels.

Each stage hides three hidden keys and a Chaos Emerald. By gathering all three keys Sonic can unlock the door to the Emerald, and collecting all seven Emeralds restores his speed and lets him break free from the shoes, culminating in a final showdown with Robotnik.
