Storyline

Madou Monogatari III: Kyuukyoku Joou-sama on the Game Gear drops the original plot and follows a quirky new adventure. A mysterious frog shadows Arle as she dons pink armor and a powerful staff, and she soon faces an Egyptian Guardian before Carbuncle falls ill. To cure her companion, Arle even journeys into space, while the second boss appears as a super‑form of Draco Centauros and Minotauros serves as the third challenge.

Rulue emerges as the final boss, revealing she unleashed monsters throughout Mokemoe Labyrinth and claiming the area as her own. She proposes a deal: both will attend the same Magic School so Rulue can become a great mage and impress Satan. Arle accepts, and after the battle Rulue orders Minotauros to stand down.

In the Game Gear ending, the frog is revealed to be Satan himself, confessing his plan to marry Arle. The heroes dismiss him, sending him flying, and the story concludes without Carbuncle or Minotauros joining the final scene.
